Think back. Was there ever a job you didn’t interview for or a date you didn’t ask for? Why? If you struggle with self-esteem issues, it can be hard to believe that you’re worthy of the things you want in life. Building up your confidence can give you the strength to go after these things. Many adults have increased their confidence through improving their smile. Let us improve your self-esteem with one of our many adult orthodontics treatments.
Am I too old for braces?
You’re never too old to better yourself. In fact, 25 percent of all people improving their appearance through braces are adults — you’ll be in good company! Maybe you even have a friend whose new confident smile increased their opportunities at work and widened their circle of friends.
Won’t I look silly in braces?
In addition to traditional metal braces, we offer many subtle types of braces to discreetly shift your teeth into proper alignment:
- Invisalign – Clear removable trays to treat your crooked teeth without changes to your lifestyle.
- Lingual braces – Braces applied to the backsides of your teeth. Dr. Leiker is our county’s leading lingual braces orthodontist and is skilled in adhering these cosmetic braces.
- Ceramic braces – Blend in with the color of your teeth and also self-ligate.
To reduce the amount of time you have to wear braces, self-ligating braces use a clip instead of brackets for speedier treatment.
What will my first visit be like?
Before your visit, you can fill out your new patient forms online. At your visit, you’ll sign in and then are welcome to help yourself to our refreshment bar. One of our kind staff members will give you a tour and begin your exam in the treatment room by asking questions and doing a 3-D scan of your head. Dr. Leiker will then read the scan and discuss the adult orthodontics treatment options.
