Meet Dr. Leiker, Orthodontist To The Woodlands, Conroe, And Surrounding Areas

Dr. Leiker on His Practice Philosophy

Since he was a junior high student in the small west Texas town of Levelland, Dr. Brad Leiker wanted to be an orthodontist. He saw how his own orthodontist was able to help him and others increase their self-esteem and grow their confidence through orthodontic treatment.

After attending South Plains Junior College, where his mother was an instructor, he spent one year at Texas Tech University before receiving early admittance to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Not only did he graduate from dental school with honors and as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society, but he also met and married Dana, his wife, while in dental school. During his senior year, they had their first child, Bradley James.

They added their second child, Lauren Nicole, to the family while Dr. Leiker completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. There, he received his Orthodontic Certificate and Masters of Science degree.

Dr. Leiker began his career in Spring, TX, in 1993, and a year later he began his practice in The Woodlands, TX. In 2005, he added his second location in Conroe, TX. In 2013, he reopened his location in The Woodlands by McCullough Junior High in a state-of-the-art office.

Why Wendy Chose Dr. Leiker for Her Family

Dr. Leiker has gained so much joy from serving our community for more than 20 years. That’s why he decided to give back by starting a scholarship program for Conroe Independent School District junior high students in need of the confidence-boosting abilities of orthodontic treatment.

After fulfilling his junior high dreams of becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Leiker hopes to inspire others to fulfill their own dreams by taking the first step toward a better future with orthodontic treatment. His son is currently enrolled in dental school and plans to join his father’s practice once he completes his education.
